Corto Condorello
Piccolo America's short film festival
Corto Condorello is the short film festival conceived and curated by Fondazione Piccolo America and produced, for its inaugural edition, in collaboration with Numero 10, the production company founded by Paolo Sorrentino.
The heart of the festival is the international competition for directors under 35: the prize is the Condorello d'Oro, awarded by an exceptional jury of leading figures in contemporary cinema.
The award also includes acquisition of the short film by MUBI for its global catalogue.
For four days, Cinema Troisi becomes the hub of the initiative, hosting not only screenings — introduced by the filmmakers themselves — but also moments of social gathering and collective participation, from DJ sets in the foyer to midnight karaoke in the auditorium.
